As the www.CKXU.com show NOT YOUR MOTHERS POETRY is going to a request format for the 4th Saturday in the month, we are supplying you with a list of our current spoken word CDs.If you are familiar with a selection off the CD or just want to test-drive the CD, request it and we will try to get it to air ASAP. If the selection contains adult content or the F Word, regrettably with the program’s current time slot (Saturday 10 to 11 am Lethbridge Alberta Canada time) we cannot put it on air. Description The College and University kids are back .... classes have started ..... vacation time has been taken .... let's welcome everyone back and get the MOST VOCAL noise happening in the streets and byways ........ августа 10 What's MOST VOCAL all about?MOST VOCAL Poets Society is now a legal entity as a proper society under Alberta legislation, an organization dedicated to the oral presentation of poetry. Our events are usually held in the GCBC Lounge @ the Henotic Restaurant. These events usually include an opening act featuring some local musician or dance group followed by the featured poet for the evening. A specific member of the Society is designated as the host and MC for the evening. MANDATE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION The established mandate and objectives of MOST VOCAL Poets Society is as follows: A. The primary focus of MOST VOCAL is the oral presentation of poetry. 1. Continue the monthly reading series; B. The secondary focus of MOST VOCAL is to support other literary art forms. 1. Liase, as time and circumstances allow, between prose writers and C. MOST VOCAL will be participating in the artistic community in Southern Alberta. 1. Participate in various Southern Alberta "festivals" and "events"; |
